Terms and Conditions

Program Overview

  1. The Jipaban shopper rewards program (the "Program") is a loyalty reward program offered by Jipaban Pte Ltd, launched on 3rd October 2011.

    The Program allows persons who have completed the membership enrollment steps in accordance with the present Terms and Conditions to collect Lolly Points when making purchases in-store in Jipaban ("Eligible Purchases"), and to redeem these Lolly points for rewards, benefits and/or rebates offered by Jipaban from time to time.

    For each individual customer it begins with their first order as a registered account holder.

    The program will continue till the time Jipaban runs the program, Jipaban has the sole authority to amend, modify or dissolve the program at any time and in any way. In such a case, any loyalty discounts will no longer be active and entitlements to the program's existing members will cease to be available on and from that particular date forward. Jipaban is not liable to inform the Loyalty program members of dissolution or closing the program in the event such situation arises.

    Jipaban may designate from time to time, partners from whom Members will be able to collect or redeem Lolly Points in the Program (the "Program Partners" or "Partners").

    Members acquire no vested right or entitlement to the continued availability of any particular reward or benefit, Program Partners or redemption level.

Participation in the Program

Membership Enrollment

  1. Jipaban shopper rewards program is absolutely free and no initial purchase is required in order to become a Member.

  2. Jipaban shopper rewards program is only applicable to registered shoppers based in Singapore, who are 13 years of age and/or above, and remain subscribed to Jipaban’s offers and discounts e-mail communications.

  3. All registered shoppers based in Singapore that have completed the enrollment process and accepted the Terms of Conditions of the website will automatically be entitled to the Jipaban shopper rewards program.

  4. You must update your Personal Information (as defined herein) in your profile if you have any changes to your name, address, and e-mail address. Jipaban shall not be liable for misdirected email or mail communications, including any notices under these Terms and Conditions or any consequences thereof where your Personal Information is inaccurate or no longer valid. If we believe that some of our records are inaccurate, we may contact you to verify our records. We reserve the right to cancel any account for which we have incomplete or inaccurate Personal Information and all points redemptions on that account may be blocked or forfeited. The submission of false or fictitious Personal Information on an account will result in all accumulated Lolly Points being forfeited.

  5. Jipaban shopper rewards program is only available to individuals and will not be available to corporations, businesses, charities, partnerships, enterprises, schools or anyone other than an individual.

  6. If for any reason we believe a shopper is not based in Singapore, the Membership may be terminated, including the immediate forfeiture of all Lolly Points.

Collection of Lolly Points

  1. To collect Lolly Points following enrollment, you must make Eligible Purchases on Any unauthorized purchases may lead to legal prosecution and forfeiture of all Lolly Points and membership in the Program.

    Online: 2 Lolly Points will be issued for every dollar spent online. However, from time to time, bonus Lolly Points may be awarded for purchases made online.

  2. Lolly Points will be calculated by reference to the net (Eligible Purchase price less discounts) pre-tax total on each cash register receipt. The total Lolly Points awarded and will be rounded to the closest 10 cents spent (for example, $1.55 will round to 16 points, and $1.54 will round to 15 points).

  3. Jipaban may offer special promotions from time to time offering additional Lolly Points. Such bonus Lolly Points, once awarded, shall form part of the Member’s Lolly Points balance.

  4. Jipaban’s standard Return/Exchange Policy applies.

    In the event of a return/exchange of any Eligible Purchase, all redeemed Lolly Points will be deducted automatically from the Account that was used. The Member will be reimbursed for the Eligible Purchase price shown on the receipt.

  5. Lolly Points are not transferable from one Member to another.

  6. Lolly Points are reduced to zero upon deleting of the shopper account.

Redemption of Points

  1. Products and services eligible for Lolly Points redemption will be posted at and updated on a periodic basis.

  2. Lolly Points can only be collected and redeemed by the Member. Each Member is responsible to ensure that all Personal Information is correct and up-to-date and Jipaban reserves the right to block redemptions where the Member information is inaccurate or incomplete. Members are entirely responsible for keeping their Account secure.

  3. Products and services can be changed without notice.

  4. Lolly Points have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash.

  5. Redemption of loyalty rewards will be the sole discretion of Jipaban.


  1. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will maintain the privacy and security of all personal information collected from Members, including, but not limited to: name, address, email address, telephone numbers, date of birth, account number and purchasing information ("Personal Information").

    We collect your Personal Information for the following purposes:

    • To set up and administer the Program including ongoing management of Accounts, and to accurately record points and to update point balances;

    • To process redemptions and issue rewards;

    • To communicate with Members;

    • To understand Members’ shopping and information needs and preferences, and to offer Members relevant information, products, services and rewards to meet those needs and interests; and

    • To provide Members with special offers and rewards from Jipaban and the Program Partners.

    • By providing your Personal Information to us, you consent to our use of the information for the purposes specified herein.

  2. On occasion Jipaban may collect additional personal information from Members on a voluntary basis through questionnaires or other methods. The Jipaban rewards membership status of any Member who does not wish to participate will not be affected.
